In 1892, the Hamilton watch brand was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States. The brand first started by making pocket watches with its focus on accuracy and quality.
The first series of pocket watches by Hamilton with the title ‘Watch of Railroad Accuracy’ were made in 1912. This solved the problem of railroad accidents caused by uncommon timing methods.
